Juanita Hyrne Obituary

Juanita Mae Hyrne, Age 95, Passed away Monday, February 2, 2026 at the Celebration Villa of Crestview Hills in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.

She was born in Poplar Flats, Kentucky to the late Wilbur and Nellie Garrett Thoroughman on August 29, 1930. Juanita went to business school and worked for First National Bank in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a Homemaker, enjoyed sewing, raising a garden, and canning. She was an active member in the PTO in Gleneste, Ohio and loved to travel with her husband David. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Independence, Kentucky and was raised in the Mt. Tabor and Bethel Churches in Ribolt, Kentucky. Juanita also played the piano and was an organist at the Grace Baptist Church in Independence, Kentucky.

Survivors include One sister Dianne Hill of Ribolt, Kentucky. One Brother Jim Thoroughman of Covington, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death beside her parents by her daughter Valerya Hyrne. Her Husband David Leon Hyrne. Two Brothers Hillis Thoroughman and Gayle Thoroughman. Two sisters-in-laws Dorothy Thoroughman and Thelma Thoroughman. One brother-in-law James Hill.  

Friends may call February 7, 2026 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Mt. Tabor Church in Ribolt, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held on February 7, 2026at 1:00 pm at the Mt. Tabor Church in Ribolt, Kentucky with Brother Samuel Jones officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Ribolt, Kentucky.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
